I miss the satisfaction of break.
Work can blow me. I can’t wait to start school again and feel some sort of satisfaction.

Passion Pit in the studio. They seem like very down to earth people. Plus….anyone that can get a children’s choir on their album is pretty legit haha.
Very cool Ben Kweller performance.

Would you drop everything?
I’ve always wanted to audition for a touring band if there was ever a spot to open up. Here’s five bands I wouldn’t have trouble dropping everything for (well just about everything.) Lofty maybe, but these are groups I admire both in musical talent and in personality. Here goes:
Say Anything (Sure, if I was Coby I wouldn’t ever want to leave that gig, but you can dream...

First of all Karen Abad is the shit. Second, this little test film with her new Kodak Zi6 pocket camera just made my summer wish-list grow. For about an average of $115-120, this thing would be so cool to just throw in a bag and take off. I love my Canon HV30, but I think I’d really like the spontaneity and “casualness” (is that a word?) of this camera. Either way, I guess the...

A very simple but original idea. Math that won’t make you….well…hate math. Check out the site, it’s pretty rad!

Don’t lie to yourself. You know you would eat some of these concoctions. A big “heart-stopping” thank you to Jess for showing me this site (the laughter still continues.) Enjoy!…errr don’t?… just check it out!

Fa Fa Fa Free Music. And Tons of it. →
Amazon is having their “Free Indie Album Bonanza.” You may need a user name but everything is legit free. You also may have a predetermined notion as to what “indie” means. But from what I’m hearing so far, this is a very veryyy wide collection of music, with music thats sure to satisfy just about everyone. From rock to hip hop and country to death metal,...
I would go see these guys again in a heartbeat. If you haven’t… you probably should. Just a suggestion. This video doesn’t do the experience justice. The mix is kind of hard to hear, but you get the idea :)
Listen to Say Anything. Go to a show. Scream your heart out.

Ha ha ha show me what you got

Beautiful use of color grading. The Cinematic Orchestra backing up your clip doesn’t hurt either! Great stuff. Short clip, but gets me excited about filming a lot this summer :)

Driving at night is pretty boss.
It really is the simple things in life sometimes. Contemplating the day, listening to some good music and being the only one on the road for miles really helps clear your mind. Even if you do get taken back the second you step out of the car again. Summer. If you don’t mind… can I kindly request that you hurry up? Please provide me with the windows down, music blaring, not a care in...
I can't wait to see this. →
This preview looks absolutely amazing!
Just recently found out Stewart Yost is from Tulpehocken. Pretty rad dude with some killer cinematography skills. Also, just found out he goes to SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) along with Jake Troth. Even more awesome… he has done a bunch of videos for Jake. A lot of which look to be coming up after the release of Daydream Big Mixtape! Can’t wait. Thought this was kind of a...
To dance or not to dance?
About to go to bed. Browsing through music and started really digging one of my iTunes Genius suggestions. Dance Gavin Dance was recomended since I like The Fall of Troy. Really liking their sound and think I might break down and buy the record. Haven’t really listened to anything hard in the past couple weeks, so maybe I’ll have to download a track or two to test the waters. iTunes...
